There are things like my shrines I will never change because those are dedications to the deities. but I really am starting to weed out some of the 'stuff' I don't use... anything that doesn't actually get used.

I don't think it is a bad thing but it does make you stop and think if the stuff gets in the way for some being able to advance far enough they can access those energies without them.Druid uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05372701726963397728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1470985782992341117.post-88025780795217675832012-09-19T14:54:44.428-07:002012-09-19T14:54:44.428-07:00Very interesting post. I know I don't need this stuff, but if I feel it adds to the energy of my work/practice, I will use it, knowing of course that it is only stuff - prompts if you will.

I know that spirituality lives in a part of our brain that some do not acknowledge or use. There is no need for stuff to access this place, and yet, sometimes a little stuff sets the mood and makes it easier. Let's face it - if we all lived a natural life with little outside stress, we'd need no stuff to help us. But most of us need help to get from one state of mind to another.

and that's ok.

I love my stuff, but I do not need it. I can access the spiritworld anywhere, any how.Aine O'Brienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18372090267226506263noreply@blogger.com
